World's Biggest Science Hoaxes

When mysterious circles began appearing in England's wheat fields in the late 1970s, UFO researchers and investigators gave their own explanations about the circles' origins. Were they messages from aliens? Mystical vortices? Divine healing circles?

Many self-proclaimed experts became convinced that the patterns were too perfect to have been designed by humans. But, in 1991, pranksters Doug Bower and Dave Chorley finally revealed how they had created the circles using planks, rope, hats and wire as their only tools.

André Rousseau is a Doctor of Geophysics and Geology and he is an expert on the measurement of acoustic waves.

Rousseau says that the seismic waves measured on September 11th proves that the 3 WTC buildings were brought down by controlled demolition.

Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth have now reached 1000 professional members, further legitimizing calls for a new investigation into the September 11th attacks based upon physical evidence and analysis that is completely inconsistent with the official story.

In the 1990s, a short film surfaced that purported to be real footage of an alien autopsy performed on an extraterrestrial being that crash landed in Roswell, N.M., in 1947. The film was sold to television networks and broadcast around the world in as many as 32 countries. Fox television was the first to broadcast it in the U.S. in 1995.

In 2006, the film's producer, Ray Santilli, admitted that the film was not authentic, though he still contends it was based on real footage. The alien in the film was apparently made of casts containing sheep brains, raspberry jam and chicken entrails.

The Shroud of Turin is a fourteen-foot piece of cloth bearing the image of a naked man that many still believe to be the funeral shroud of Christ.

The shroud is a medieval forgery created during the middle ages when there was a flourishing trade in false relics.

The radiocarbon sample used to date the Shroud has a different composition and structure than the rest of the cloth and was not valid for dating the Shroud. Teddy Hall, head of the Oxford carbon lab in 1988 said, “One would have to be a member of the Flat Earth Society” to believe the Shroud was authentic."

The Waving U.S. Flag shown in the moon landing footage makes no sense since there is no air in the moon’s atmosphere, and therefore no wind to cause the flag to blow.

If NASA had really landed us on the moon, there would be a blast crater underneath the lunar module to mark its landing. The video footage or photographs of the landings show no visible crater.

On the moon there is only one strong light source: the Sun. That means all shadows should run parallel to one another. But this was not the case during the moon landing: videos and photographs clearly show that shadows fall in different directions.

In order to reach the moon, astronauts had to pass through what is known as the Van Allen radiation belt. The belt is held in place by Earth’s magnetic field and stays perpetually in the same place. The Apollo missions to the moon marked the first ever attempts to transport living humans through the beltwhose sheer levels of radiation would have cooked the astronauts en route to the moon, despite the layers of aluminum coating the interior and exterior of the spaceship.

There are no clouds on the moon, so stars are perpetually visible and significantly brighter than what we see through the filter of Earth’s atmosphere. There is a total lack of stars in any of the photographic/video evidence of the moon landing.

One of the most famous photos from the moon landings shows a rock in the foreground, with what appears to be the letter “C” engraved into it. The letter appears to be almost perfectly symmetrical, meaning it is unlikely to be a natural occurrence. The rock appears to be a prop, with the “C” used as a marker by an alleged film crew. A set designer could have turned the rock the wrong way, accidentally exposing the marking to the camera.
