Egypt's Worst Enemy

July 5, 2013

It doesn't matter how many revolutions erupt in Egypt or how many leaders are elected, the US backed Egyptian military has ruled Egypt since the coup in 1952...and that's not about to change. The Egyptian military are the regional superpower and they have been financed, built and trained by Washington with the CIA pulling the strings.

The celebrating Egyptian people believe that their demonstrations are responsible for ousting Morsi and the Muslim brotherhood. They believe that Morsi's support for Intervention in Syria Was the Straw that Broke the Camel’s Back.

Morsi wasn't ousted by the people. He was ousted by the US backed Egyptian army and the Washington-based IMF loan sharks. Read on...

The people naively believe a compromise with the army is the best solution to guarantee stability, but the same puppet military that began its rule in 1952 has repeatedly (and intentionally) failed to manage a transition to a democratic and a prosperous future.

More than 500 Egyptian military officers train at American military graduate schools every year. There’s even a special guesthouse on T Street in northwest Washington, D.C., where visiting Egyptian military officials stay when in the American capital.

The Commander-in-Chief of Egypt's Armed Forces is General Abdul Fatah al-Sisi. In 1992, Pharaoh al-Sisi trained in the UK Joint Services Command and Staff College, and received a master's degree at the US Army War College in Pennsylvania in 2006. "Sisi also served as a military attache for Saudi Arabia's UK puppet regime during Mubarak's term and became head of military intelligence in February 2011."

Egyptian leaders like Mubarak and Morsi are powerless without the support of the US trained Egyptian military and without America's stamp of approval for keeping the peace with Israel. Without that support, they are ousted.

Egypt's military has received substantial U.S. aid since the country signed a peace treaty with Israel in 1979.

Just two months ago, Jewish Secretary of Hate John Kerry approved $1.3 billion in annual U.S. military aid to Egypt—the second largest recipient of such help after Israel.

In the past, American aid to Egypt has included armored personnel carriers, helicopters, anti-aircraft missiles, surveillance systems, fighter jets and tanks, as well as training as the U.S. poured more than $70 billion in military and economic aid into Egypt since 1948. Egypt's military DO NOT serve the people. They serve their US paymasters who serve Israel.

In addition to buying Egypt weapons like 1,200 M1 Abrams tanks and hundreds of F-16 fighter jets, the United States spends millions of dollars annually to train Egyptian troops in war games in the Middle East.

The Egyptian Army is one of the U.S. government’s biggest, most muscular friends in the entire Arab world. The Egyptian military controls up to 40 percent of the Egyptian economy which means they are responsible for much of the economic despair and discontent in Tahrir Square right now.

The International Monetary Fund banksters are waiting for the new puppet leader to emerge before renewing its $4.8 billion loan program. The Washington-based IMF loan sharks traditionally don't do business with countries undergoing serious political turmoil.

“We hope all of the participants will work constructively for a peaceful (IMF profits) outcome,” say the Washington loan sharks who have already picked the next 'loan-cooperative puppet' for the Egyptian crowds to follow.

Egypt and the IMF banksters have held protracted negotiations over a loan needed to help combat a severe economic crisis. The solution? Drowning in more debt. Morsi rejected the outrageous IMF conditions asking him to cut fuel subsidies and raise sales taxes. That's the reason why Morsi was ousted!

Morsi thought he could obtain an IMF loan without first cutting spending. Worse, while failing to meet the ruthless IMF banksters demands that he cut $2.5 billion of his $15 billion subsidies budget, he increased the $3.2 billion loan request to $4.8 billion.

Morsi figured he could get from Germany the loan he failed to get from the IMF. He figured wrong. Berlin turned him down and so did Russia. Things turned ugly for Morsi when Moody’s cut Egypt’s government-bond rating to junk-level Caa1.

Egypt is tightly within the grip of the U.S. Empire. Political leaders are the only change Egyptians can expect to see as long as Washington (who built the modern Egyptian armed forces) is in control.

If this generation of young Egyptians fails to learn from the mistakes of their predecessors and allows their US backed military to continue covertly governing them, they are destined to be demonstrating in Tahrir Square again in two years and celebrating the fall of another puppet leader.
