Flying Cars For Sale In 2015

November, 2013

www.helpfreetheearth.com

While sitting in a sea of cars in bumper-to-bumper traffic on an endless expressway, have you ever daydreamed about your car just taking off and flying over the road? Imagine if you could just flip a switch and unshackle yourself from the asphalt!

With advances in lightweight material, computer modeling and computer-controlled aircraft, the dream of parking a flying car in your garage is fast becoming reality.

If you're in the market for a new car and a new airplane - or just want to find a way around that traffic jam - hang on. A Massachusetts-based company may be able to solve all your problems.

Terrafugia will start selling its flying cars in 2015. The "Transition" is a car/airplane that has two seats, four wheels and wings that fold up so that it can be parked in a garage. No runway is needed for takeoff and Terrafugia said it will operate like a car - complete with steering wheel, gas and brake pedals - when on the ground and switch to stick and rudder pedals while in the air.

It will use premium unleaded gas and company officials said switching from flight to drive modes is as easy as putting down a convertible top.

You can reserve your own flying car for a $10,000 deposit. The total asking price may cause a bit of sticker shock, however. The base purchase price for the Transition is $279,000.

It's a century-old dream - merging cars and planes into flying cars. Just a decade and a half after the Wright Brothers took off in their airplane over the plains of Kitty Hawk, N.C., in 1903, other pioneering men began chasing the dream of a flying car. There are nearly 80 patents on file at the United States Patent and Trademark Office for various kinds of flying cars.
